The Extravaganza provides an opportunity for SECAB members to educate the public about alpacas and the wide variety of products that are made from alpaca fiber. Some of the farms will have alpacas for you to meet and touch. Experienced breeders will be able to answer any questions you may have about these unique animals. As we have had in the past, each farm/artisan will be different, and you will find all kinds of alpaca products, many of them hand made by the participating farms and artisans. Each participating farm/artisan decides what they want to display and sell, so the list of products varies each year. One of the artisans will be offering face painting for kids and adults. - Raw fiber for spinners and felters
- Cleaned and carded rovings and batts
- Hand spun and mill spun yarns, both natural colors (undyed) and dyed colors
- Hand made and commercially made clothing of alpaca and alpaca blends like hats, scarves, gloves, socks, sweaters, etc.
- Art and crafts relating to alpacas
- Other unique items like felted soaps, bird nesting balls, dryer balls, beehive insulation, picture postcards, etc.
